How we work

Selective by design

We take on a limited number of new engagements each year so every engagement gets senior attention, from embedded discovery through launch, implementation and the weekly leadership review.

The engagement

How an engagement runs

Five steps, in the same order every time. What gets built in between is designed from your systems and processes.

  1. Step 1: Fit review

A conversation with leadership about goals, systems, processes and timeline. We tell you honestly whether we're the right firm.

  2. Step 2: Embedded discovery

We work directly with your teams to understand your systems and processes, define the KPIs and plan targets, and find where automation fits.

  3. Step 3: Build and validate

CRM configuration, custom design, dashboards and agents, reconciled against your real jobs.

  4. Step 4: Launch and implementation

Your Implementation and Success Manager works with each team lead to get the new system running day to day.

    How launch works
  5. Step 5: Operating cadence

The dashboard becomes part of your weekly leadership review, the Elephant Walk, and we keep improving it as you grow.

How we run the operating cadence
Launch and adoption

Launch is where it counts

A dashboard nobody uses doesn't move a single number. Building it is half the job; getting your teams running on it is the other half. Every engagement includes a hands-on launch.

Your Implementation and Success Manager

A dedicated lead who works with your team leads through launch and after, and is the first call when anything needs attention.

How launch works

Launch readiness

Data checked against your real jobs, roles and access confirmed, and a go-live date agreed with leadership.

Team lead onboarding

Working sessions with each team lead on the parts of the system their team owns, in their own processes.

Go-live support

We're on hand during the first weeks live to answer questions, fix what needs fixing and keep adoption moving.

Adoption check-ins

Scheduled reviews with team leads to confirm the data is being entered and the dashboard is being used, and to adjust.

Fit review

Every engagement starts with a fit review

We're selective about where we spend our time. Before we commit, we review your operation to make sure we can deliver a measurable result. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you in a better direction.

What we look at

  • Your volume, markets and operating model
  • The systems you run on today, from spreadsheets to a full CRM
  • Leadership's commitment to running the business on the numbers
  • Timeline, and our capacity to give you full attention

What happens next

  1. We review your request within two business days.
  2. A conversation with leadership about goals, systems and processes.
  3. A written scope if there's a fit.

We respond within two business days. Everything you share is kept confidential.

Security commitments

Security, confidentiality and design protection

You're trusting us with your numbers, your customers and the way you run your business. These are the commitments we make on every engagement.

  • Confidentiality agreement first

A signed NDA before we see a single number.

  • Least-privilege access

We request only the system permissions the work requires, and remove our access when the engagement ends.

  • Your data stays in your systems

Dashboards read from your system of record. Credentials are kept in a secured vault, never in files or email.

  • Designs never reused

Your workflows, reports and designs are yours. Nothing is reused for another client.

  • No public showcase without permission

We never show your dashboards or name you as a client without written permission.

Ways to start

Engagements

Every engagement is scoped to your operation after the fit review and discovery, and priced privately. These are three ways to start.

Foundation

A clean system of record and your first executive view.

  • CRM structure, custom fields and roles
  • Job templates and stage definitions
  • Starter executive dashboard, in your brand

Growth

System of record plus pricing, design and performance to plan.

  • Everything in Foundation
  • Catalog, budget templates and proposals
  • Workflow report and custom design system
  • Dashboard with plan targets and drill-down

Embedded build

We work directly with your teams to understand your systems and processes, then build the metrics, KPIs and automation around them.

  • Working sessions with each department
  • Custom dashboards and AI agents
  • Systems and process redesign
  • Full launch with your Implementation and Success Manager

Post-launch partnership

After go-live, your Implementation and Success Manager stays with your team leads. Hosting, upkeep and continuous improvement, with ongoing time for new KPIs, process changes and new agents as you scale.

Discuss pricing
Common questions

Questions leadership asks

What does an engagement cost?

Pricing depends on your size, scope and timeline, so we quote privately after the fit review and discovery. You'll have a written scope and price before any work begins.

Do we need a CRM already, or a specific one?

No. You might be running on spreadsheets, another CRM or JobTread. If you've already invested in a CRM, we review its capabilities during the initial assessment and recommend how to build on it from there. If you're starting fresh, JobTread is the platform we know best: we can implement it from scratch or restructure an account you've used for years.

Can the dashboard include data from outside our CRM?

Often, yes. Lead sources, call center data and plan targets from your finance team can sit beside your CRM data. We confirm what's practical during the fit review.

Will our team see your name anywhere?

No. Everything your team uses is branded as your company.

What happens if we end the partnership?

Your CRM setup, workflow report and designs are yours to keep. Hosted dashboards can be transferred to you or retired. We agree on this in writing up front.

How long does an engagement take?

It depends on scope. The timeline is set in writing with your proposal, and your first dashboard comes early in the engagement, not at the end.
